Thats what suggests that the anger isnt really about telemetry at all, but merely about a way to rage at Microsoft.I just would not trust what it says, as Ill pretty sure the information on incomplete. Are you seriously complaining the defaults, which are only used if you selected the option to use the defaults, are configured in such a way you disagree with Here is a news flash: STOP USING THE DEFAULTS.
Apple makes money by actually selling products. Quaint, I know.). Thats probably because they can switch off the tracking, if they want to. Alldata App For Windows Software Patches AndWhere do you think all those software patches and updates come from There is a useful purpose to telemetry data collection. Id even go so far as to say maybe it shouldnt be opt-out, not if you want to receive ongoing patches and updates. The outrage towards Microsoft and not Apple Google is completely fueled by anti-Microsoft bias, not by real privacy harm. Uh, I can actually confirm you are wrong on the nude selfies thing. My PC is far more important to me from a privacy standpoint than my phone. I wouldnt ever consider you to be biased against Google or Apple were you to be outraged over what you perceive as privacy harm. Hes talking about how theres collective anger against Microsoft but not against AppleGoogle for the exact same actions.
